How do I install the Kornerkeeper?

Will the Kornerkeeper fit my old large heavy monitor?

Yes, it does fit those large CRT type monitors. Some of those large CRT monitors have a much curved frame around the screen. If the curve is more than a 1/4 inches, you will need to use the enclosed riser block in location B of the Dual Lock adhesive fastener. Refer to the notation at the end of #6 of the directions.

Can the Kornerkeeper fit on my Laptop or Notebook computer?

No, the Kornerkeeper was not designed to work with Laptops or Notebook computers. In most cases it would not even fit and when the Kornerkeeper is removed, 1/2 inch of the Dual Lock (tm) fastener remains connected to the monitor which would prevent the Laptop from closing properly.

Can I attach the Kornerkeeper to the upper right side of my monitor?

Yes, it is designed to work on both the upper right and upper left corners of the monitor.

How do I attach sticky notes into one of the picture pockets?

It is as simple as removing the photo and adhering the sticky notes right to the bottom of the picture pocket. We have found that using the super sticky notes works best. Regular sticky notes tend to fall off once in a while.

How do I attach the sticky flags to the picture pocket?

If you purchase the carded flag product that has two wide flag dispensers or the one that has 4 narrow flag dispensers side by side, you can use double stick tape. There are a number of removable adhesive tapes, dots, squares, etc. available on the market that will also work well.

How do I remove the Kornerkeeper for cleaning?

Remove the Kornerkeeper from your monitor by bending it slightly and pulling.

How do I clean the Kornerkeeper?

Periodically dust your Kornerkeeper to maintain its attractive appearance. To clean the Kornerkeeper, separate it from the monitor and remove any photos and components. Carefully wipe with warm water (no detergents) and a non-abrasive cloth. Make sure your Kornerkeeper is completely dry before re-assembly.

How do I put a photograph in my Kornerkeeper?

1. Remove a Snap-in Frame from a pocket by carefully lifting from one of the sides without a hold down nib, and carefully sliding it out. Note: Lifting from a side with a hold down nib will damage the nib.

2. Align the Snap-in frame over your selected photo or image. Carefully trace around the frame with an appropriate marking pen.

3. Cut out the image with your scissors staying slightly inside the lines that you drew, and place into a pocket on the Kornerkeeper. Make sure that your image is slightly smaller than the pocket. It must lay flat. If it is touching the sides of the pocket, trim off the edges that touch the sides. Note: It is better if the photo is a little loose in the pocket.

4. Insert the Snap-in Frame into the pocket to hold it into place. Repeat these steps for all of the pockets.

When will you be coming out with add on components that fit into the picture pockets?

If everything goes as planned, they should be available before 2010.

What is the Kornekeeper made out of? Durable ABS plastic.
